PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Product Description

WW Grade Natural Gum Rosin is a natural resin obtained from pine-derived material after the removal of turpentine through distillation. It is generally supplied as a light-yellow to tan solid and is insoluble in water while being soluble in selected organic solvents. The material is commonly used in soap production, varnishes, inks, paper sizing, rubber processing, welding materials, insulation materials, and other industrial formulations. Commercial quality is evaluated through appearance, softening point, acid number, alcohol-insoluble matter, unsaponifiable content, ash content, and solution clarity.
