Product Description

OLEOATE 75% Oleic Acid is an industrial-grade oleic acid product supplied as a light yellow to yellow oily liquid. Oleic acid is an unsaturated C18 fatty acid identified by CAS No. 112-80-1 and molecular formula C18H34O2. This commercial grade contains a minimum of 75% C18:1 oleic acid. The product is insoluble in water, miscible with alcohol and ether, and soluble in selected organic solvents. It is commonly used in soap production, lubricants, mineral flotation applications, ointment formulations, and the manufacture of oleate derivatives.
