PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Product Description

Food Grade 99% D-Glucose Monohydrate is a purified crystalline form of D-glucose containing one molecule of crystallization water. It is supplied as white crystals or crystalline powder and is characterized by high water solubility, mild sweetness, and consistent carbohydrate content. The material is widely used in food and beverage manufacturing as a sweetening ingredient, nutritional carbohydrate source, filler, and functional processing ingredient. Its high solubility and predictable glucose content make it suitable for beverages, confectionery, bakery products, dairy products, fermentation processes, and other food-manufacturing systems. Dextrose Monohydrate can also serve as a fermentation substrate and as a raw material for selected downstream chemical processes, including the manufacture of sorbitol. Pharmaceutical or specialized nutritional applications require the appropriate product grade and relevant regulatory documentation. The referenced quality specification controls glucose content on a dry basis, specific optical rotation, pH, chloride, moisture, sulphated ash, and physical appearance. Final suitability should be evaluated according to the required grade, intended application, supplier-specific documentation, and applicable food or industrial regulations.

STORAGE & HANDLING

Handling Guidance

Store in tightly sealed and appropriately labeled food-compatible packaging in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated location. Protect the material from moisture, excessive heat, prolonged direct sunlight, and contamination. Keep packaging securely closed when the product is not in use to help preserve its crystalline condition and prevent unnecessary moisture uptake or caking. Minimize unnecessary airborne dust during bulk handling and follow appropriate food-industry hygiene procedures, supplier-specific technical documentation, and the applicable Safety Data Sheet. Storage, transportation, and handling requirements should comply with applicable food-safety regulations and the specifications supplied by the actual PBL supplier.
